How to set up your new HeartSine samaritan PAD Pediatric Pad-Pak for service

Remove the Pediatric Pad-Pak from its packaging.
Verify the expiration date on the Pad-Pak label.
Ensure your HeartSine samaritan PAD AED is turned off.
Place the AED on a flat surface.
If an adult Pad-Pak is installed, remove it by pressing the release button.
Slide out the adult Pad-Pak completely.
Insert the Pediatric Pad-Pak into the AED until you hear a "click."
Check that the status indicator on the AED is flashing green.
Briefly turn on the AED to confirm it recognizes the Pediatric Pad-Pak.
Turn off the AED and return it to its designated storage location.
