The HeartStart OnSite Infant/Child pads are designed for use with the HeartStart OnSite AED. The instruct the AED to reduce the amount of energy delivered during a shock from 150 joules to 50 joules, which is appropriate for a child under 8 years of age, and weighing less than 55 lbs. The electrode pad package has a teddy bear icon on it to clearly and quickly identify them for use during a child sudden cardiac arrest.
