The Justin Kropp Safety Act is California’s AB 365, a workplace safety law that requires AEDs to be present at any worksite where two or more workers perform electrical tasks at 601 volts or higher. It was created to protect high-voltage utility and contractor crews who face increased risk of cardiac emergencies.

AB 365 applies to organizations involved in high voltage (601V+) electrical work.
